Kausani is a hill station and village situated in Bagheshwar district in the State of Uttarakhand, India. It is famous for its scenic splendour and its spectacular 300km wide panoramic view of Himalayan peaks like Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Panchachuli. A reserve forest situated in Uttarakhand, Kumaon Himalaya Range. It is one of the oldest national park in India. Sona river flows through this National park. Jim Corbett National park contains various species of trees like pine, sal, chir, shishu and many more. Besides having a vast species of trees it is home to many animal and birds. You can find elephants, wild dogs, tiger, forest cat, leopard and 580 species of birds. Corbett National Reserve has two main entry gates- Dhangari and Aamdanda.
